  • Recipient of the Administration and Coordination Support for the 2023-24 Senior Assistant Deputy Minister Award of the Service Delivery Sector (IRCC)
  • Recipient of the 2022 Night of Adventure (NOA) Grant - Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the East Coast Trail, St. John's, NFLD (August 2022). Completed the 336km East Coast Trail in a record time of 6 days 18 hours on-foot. Attracted media attention including a CBC Radio interview, an interview with the Cape Breton Post, a recorded podcast episode with the NOA Podcast, and a 45-minute in-person presentation at the NOA season premiere.
  • Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the Seawall Trail located in Pleasant Bay, NS (October 2023). Successful in completing the 40km Seawall Trail in a record time of 12 hours 19 minutes. Garnered media attention, including two recorded podcasts with the Live Life In Tents and Night of Adventure podcasts.
  • Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the Nepisiguit Migmaq Trail located in Bathurst, NB (November 2024). Successful in completing the 155km trail in a record time of 35 hours 5 minutes. Garnered media attention, including a presentation with Night of Adventure.
  • Used & Abused Cabot Trail Cruise - $50 Cycle Challenge located in Baddeck, NS (July 2023). Successfully cycled the 300km Cabot Trail in 24-hours on a bicycle that cost less than $50. Raised awareness that top-of-the-line gear and equipment is not required for feats of endurance. Garnered media attention from CBC and the Cape Breton Post, including a Night of Adventure presentation.
