  • FIRST Robotics is an organization that assembles teams of high school students, adult mentors, and university students from around the world to design and construct a (roughly) 125-pound robot in six weeks.
  • Primary contributions involved designing, metal fabrication, system integration, wiring, and constructing/repairing the robot itself.
  • Through years of involvement with this team, I have effectively worked in a team environment, engineered various systems, and dealt with extensive problem solving.
  • Attended the world championships during my senior year of high school as a part of the team's pit crew. Traveling to Houston, Texas, to compete with teams from around the world and study the various systems teams included in their designs.
