I have an extensive amount of working knowledge on the Mitel product line and am currently up to date on all certifications for all products they manufacture. Remote/Field Service Technician

Currently the Lead Technician for the configuration and installation of the Mitel SMBC system. Responsible for the design, build, test and implementation as per customer's spec of a major, Canada-wide company in the food service industry. Perform live cutovers from existing systems as well as new installations including line connections, paging, as well as remote access. Installation experience includes Omada Routers and TOA amplification. Also have gained experience installing the NEC SV9100 and SNOM platforms.

As a service technician, responsibilities include remote/onsite troubleshooting and resolution of Mitel PBX, NEC, Panasonic and Nortel/Avaya key systems as well as various Paging systems. Also part of the on-call rotation for after hours emergencies.

  • Duties also included running an Olympia ice surfacer between periods of games or on the hour for practices and public skating events.
  • Also had to maintain and monitor the ice cooling equipment on the hour and to take corrective action if there were any issues.
  • Ensured the systems that required shutdown were done correctly and the building was secured at the end of the night.
