I have been licensed on Rotary Aircraft since 1986. This has given me a variety of skills and the ability to work within many different aspects of the aviation industry. I am currently holding four valid licenses for Canada TCAA M1, M2 / Australian CASA Part 66 B1.3, Malaysian DCAA B1.3 and CASA PNG B1 license. Performed contract on Bell 412 / Bell CH-146 Griffon helicopters for the Royal Canadian Airforce. As part of a maintenance crew we, perform complete 300 HR and 600 HR Inspections and overhauls and other mods.
I was a lead engineer on a RTA 212 Refurbishment / Modification project in Thailand. During this time I oversaw the reassembly of the final 4 aircraft performing all aspects of the ATA Chapters.
This included Integral systems installations: Flight controls, Main and T/R Drive train. Oil, Fuel + Hydraulic Systems.
PT6 Power plants, Fuel Calibration, Rigging, engine Power Controls.
Rotor Balance / Power plant operational and grounds checks.
Started July 10 / 2000 to June 1 / 2016 throughout that time I performed maintenance and I was signing out Sikorsky S76 Aircraft. I also working and maintaining + signing out EC 225 Aircraft. I have also worked with Sikorsky S92 and Augusta Westland 139.
For the sixteen (16) years of my employment, I worked mainly in SE Asia. I have also worked on numerous engineering contracts in Brunei, Myanmar, Thailand Labuan, Miri Malaysia Manila and Puerta Princessa Philippines. I have also worked as a Senior Engineer and have also performed Base Manager Duties while on contract in Labuan. I was working as a touring Aircraft Engineer in Miri and my schedule is 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. Due to the downturn in the Oil and Gas Industry, I was laid off after many faithful years of service.
