As a senior Engineer Lab. Technician, I built the Lab, maintained the Lab. and supported the engineers in their design and development of new and existing products. Also, maintain equipment, keep up with all equipment calibrations including psi gauges, psid gauges and flow meters. The company also had me build all marketing displays for shows and educational purposes.
Another thing about the job was testing new and existing products. Using national standards from ASSE, UL, and CSA and testing to sections of the standards as directed by the agencies and management. Writing test reports and submitting them to management for approval before sending them. This was the bulk of the work that I do for Wilkins.
