I am an outdoor enthusiast. I have volunteered with Student Leadership camping groups, and I have been a leader for hikes and camping trips for students working on their Duke of Edinburgh Award. I enjoy being active and spending time with my family, including hiking, camping, biking, and canoeing. In my spare time I train and participate in triathlons; the highlight was being chosen to represent Canada at the Long-Distance World Triathlon Championships in Penticton, BC, in 2016. I was also a member of the Nova Scotia Canada Games Canoe-Kayak team in 1997.
