I once helped clear garbage or litter from the area around a lake. I volunteered there and cleaned up the place a bit, that's where 6 of my volunteer hours come from. I worked along with 2 fellow volunteers.
I also went to a soup kitchen as a field trip and served people. (Mainly helping get ready tables and put prepared food on plates).
