  • I have held two roles during my tenure, the first seven years I was reporting to the National Practice Leader Public Sector with primary duties that included management of client accounts, risk management plans, renewal negotiations for all lines of business along with client and council presentations.
  • Key Duties and Accomplishments:
  • Designed and secured a marine facility to handle Marina and terminal operational exposures of the client base.
  • Consult on markets and coverage for private marinas/yacht clubs and other marine accounts within the branch.
  • Provide risk management advice through contract reviews, risk transfer or presenting mitigation options
  • Facilitate options for risks that fall outside the scope of the established program policies including specialty operations (diving and dredging)
  • Interim Manager responsible for a team of eight, of CES’s and Technical Assistants.

  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President, primary duties included facilitating the day to day account management and provided technical and procedural leadership to a team of six brokers. The role presented a great combination of Account Executive work as well as broking marine business from our regional offices.
  • Key Duties and Accomplishments:
  • Designed and created a national custom wording to meet newly required government compliance requirements
  • Designed and created custom package program to cross sell to marine clients
  • Created a facility to handle new legal licensing requirements of freight forwarders.
  • Translated corporate compliance requirements to workflow procedures for brokers within our practice group
  • Co-ordinate and manage renewal and/or new business cycle either as the broker specialist on the team or as the account executive overseeing all lines and other brokers.
