Treasurer, 1st Sylvan Lake Scouts

Volunteered for Scouts Canada in various positions including treasurer, secretary and leader for youth aged 5-14. The role as treasurer required preparing and presenting annual budgets, attending monthly group meetings, collecting monies for activities, fundraising, deposits as well as submitting annual financial reports to Scouts Canada. Other responsibilities included volunteer retention, youth engagement, maintaining safety protocols, meeting planning, assisting with grant proposals, and making arrangements for group travel.

I received 2 commendations for my work with Scouts Canada.

Cochrane Tourism Association, Treasurer

June 2023-Present

I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for Cochrane Tourism as the Treasurer. This includes managing the books, payroll, paying bills, collecting payments for memberships and presenting monthly treasurer reports at board meetings.
