  • FATCA is the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act program which is for identifying the US Tax obligation of customers and corresponding reporting status to the US government based on the US Indicia present in a customer profile
  • CRS is Common Reporting standards project where the FATCA rules are extended to global level where customers’ Tax obligation to different foreign governments are identified based on foreign Indicia such as address, phone number, Passport, PR Card, Standing Order etc in the profile and generate reporting status based on the indicia curing
  • I performed the role of onsite test Analyst for the FATCA and CRS programs
  • Involved in requirement analysis, test case design, test data creation with Customer connect application, test execution, defect life cycle management, test metrics reporting to stake holders and chasing sign offs
  • The application was built on Mainframe with DB2 as backend
  • As a value add I had developed an excel macro tool from scratch to capture test results screenshots from Database unload in .xls format
  • The tool was able to read Excel sheet, apply filters based on input keys provided and capture the screen prints and store it in word document as test evidence.

  • Hence the related HIPAA transactions need to enhance and tested as per the requirements
  • The application was built on Mainframe with DB2, IMS DB and VSAM as backend.
