After spending more than one year as a retiree I am looking to reenter the workforce in a part-time position. I want the interaction with others and the extra spending money will be nice also.
I feel I can bring my good work ethic to any job I do and will be a helpful team player in any business I'm employed at.
I have used a computer extensively in the past 20 years of my work life and should be able to adapt quickly to any computer program at a new job.
I started my career in the auto industry as a assembler in the department that builds the body of the vehicle. I spent the next 11 years in various assembly jobs throughout the operation, including a couple of temporary stints in the parts warehouse that supplied auto dealerships.
I then moved on to working in online repair and later took advanced training when I moved to offline repair at the end of the assembly process. Over the last 20 years of my time at the Brampton facility I at times worked closely with engineering trouble-shooting BSR (noise) issues and also spent time doing heavy mechanical repair and electrical trouble-shooting.
Highlights

* Mechanical repair work - from replacing engines or transmissions, to assembling replacement doors and installing on vehicle
* Dealing with electrical issues, from "no-start" condition to various features inoperative, etc
* Troubling shooting and repairing unacceptable noises
* Trouble shooting and repairing water leak conditions
