Hello. My name is Jihoon Choi who came from South Korea. I came to Canada when I was 20 years old and stayed in Vancouver, BC, and Victoria, BC about 5 to 6 years. I finished my mandatory military service in my home country and finished my degree from UVIC last year. After that, I came to Vancouver to work at a bank. While I work as a customer services representative and Client Advisor for around a year, I learned many skills for banking system such as opening accounts, deposits, withdrawals, oversea remittance, promoting bank's products to customers and so on according to the 'Bank Compliance System' (ex. Risk-High Countries transactions / Anti - Money Laundering, etc). Moreover, I know who should I refer to according to client's specific situations. Before this banking industry experience, I also worked as a project researcher in South Korea around a year, too. At that time, I also gave many options to my potential, and current clients to fulfill their needs. Now, I'm in the middle stage to get CSC certificate to broaden my perspectives in Finance. Thus, I strongly believe that I can get the CSC certificate during the experience at RBC as a Commercial Banking Advisor Intern position and develop myself as a good banker.
Until I came back to Canada to finish my degree after COVID-19,
