Maintenance:

- Responsible for the maintenance of the resort and dock.

- Towed large company boats.

- Operated chainsaw and other power equipment.

- Made sure all rooms were up to company standard.

- Made purchases for the company.

- Directed and tied down float planes to dock.

Staff Housing:

- Coordinated arrivals and rooms for new staff.

- Enforced housing rules.

- Conducted electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.

- Routinely operated power tools

- Did daily maintenance inspections of rooms before guest arrivals.

- Contacted and organized contractor visits for maintenance issues.

- Inspected sprinkler and water softener systems daily.

- Sourced and purchased maintenance items on behalf of the department.

- Received "Employee Spotlight Award" from head office for leading a furniture refurbishment project in the hotel.

- Worked with one other councilor living and taking care of a overnight off grid cabin of 8-12 campers for 5 days at a time on the Howe Sound.

- Taught campers how to build fires, collect water, tarp, canoe, cook on propane stoves, identify local plants and trees.

- Took campers on overnight backpacking and canoe trips away from main camp.

- Provided First Aid as needed and completed full incident reports.
