Fundraising Volunteer

Our Wings To Fight | Toronto, ON

Our Wings to Fight is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funding for research into Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The organization's primary objective is to help advance developments in prevention, treatment, and ultimately, the discovery of a cure for these conditions. The entirety of the funds generated from our Annual Gala are allocated towards supporting the Dr. Zane Cohen Centre for Digestive Diseases, situated at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. As a volunteer at a charity event, I had the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in event coordination and teamwork. Throughout my time at the event, I assisted in tasks such as set-up and take-down, registration, and assisting attendees with any questions or needs they may have had. I also had the opportunity to interact with individuals from various backgrounds and learn about the charity's impact on the community. Overall, my experience as a volunteer at this charity event was both rewarding and educational, and I am eager to continue volunteering for similar events in the future.
