  • Design and implement experiments to maximize the productivity of various algae species (Spirulina, Scenedemus, Porphyridium, Phaeodactylum, Chlorella, Dunaliella) for biomass production, protein extraction, and other valuable compounds.
  • Extract and purify C-Phycocyanin from Spirulina platensis cultures aiming to scale up the process from bench (5 to 60 L) to pilot (10,000 L) to commercial scale (500,000 L) system.
  • Analyze and interpret data, present findings to senior management, and prepare Technical Reports.
  • Collaborate with company multidisciplinary teams to integrate algae-based solutions to meet client expectations.
  • Maintain the company Algal storage - from Petri Dishes to up to 300 L bioreactors.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensure safety protocols are followed, and contribute to the overall lab organization.
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists and technicians.
  • Handle different algae projects, working effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet company and client needs.
