• Worked with high profile clients including OPG, Microsoft, CNL, Hydro One, PWC, Bruce Power, NSHEPP, Toyota, PwC, CBC, Starbucks for the duration of their short-term disability claim
• Conduct assessments to understand job duties, medical conditions, treatment plans, barriers, functional abilities, and limitations/restrictions.
• Make decisions on benefits using the policies and procedures of the company while making sure all parties understand their roles and responsibilities; educating parties on the policies/procedures when needed
• Coordinating and facilitating return to work plans, implementing intervention programs, and meeting with management/HR to ensure a smooth transition back to work
• Providing a clear method of communication between all parties including healthcare providers, employers, employee’s, and HR; keeping stakeholders updated on the status and progress of the case
• Maintaining best practices by providing factual documentation and maintaining rules/regulations by ensuring confidentiality of the clients
• Proactively maintaining updated assessments, documents and plans where needed to determine duration of benefit and alter return to work plans

• Implemented individualized behavioral programs and provided daily support to clients; reducing the occurrence of negative behaviours.

• Modeled appropriate behavior and provided positive reinforcement; fostering growth and improvement.

• Assisted with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including bathing, medication administration, socialization, meal prep, educational and recreational activities; facilitating return to independence.

• Provide physical and emotional support to clients with psychiatric disabilities
• Promoting client independence and engagement with activities of daily living; providing positive reinforcement to motivate clients and corrective feedback to ensure improvement
• Provide crisis intervention by monitoring critical high-risk behaviour, documenting appropriately, and administering medications while maintaining confidentiality of the clients
