  • Performed statistical analyses for each project.
  • Data linkage and data preparation for analyses.
  • Creation of data sets for students.
  • Kept projects on schedule by managing deadlines and adjusting workflows.
  • Supervised over 11 students and highly qualified personnel (epidemiologist and web designer) working on the CONCEPTION Study.
  • Coordinated in-person assessments with parents, children and the assessment team at 24-months post-partum at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre.
  • Wrote grant applications to obtain funding.
  • Wrote over 5 manuscripts, 3 of which are published and 2 are under review.

Mentoring Activities

  • 2022/5 Member of the Advisory Committee, CAMCCO-L
  • 2021/9 Project Supervision, Medication and Pregnancy Research Team
    Number of Mentorees: 11
In the context of the "CONCEPTION Study" which aims to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on maternal mental health and child outcomes. Since my appointment as the project coordinator & lead pharmacoepidemiologist, I have supervised 8 students at the PhD, masters and undergraduate levels as well as 3 highly qualified personnel (epidemiologist, research assistant, web designer).
  • 2014/8 - 2015/6 Training and supervision, Vascular Health Unit
    Number of Mentorees: 1
In the context of the project "A study on the impact of Calcium on women’s vascular health (Calcium)", I single handedly trained the new master's student that would take over the project. I taught the student how to perform arterial stiffness and ultrasonographic assessments, subsequent image analysis, establish a new database for his data, and how to draft protocols. I also assisted him in data analysis and abstract redaction.
  • 2014/2 - 2015/6 Training and supervision, Vascular Health Unit
    Number of Mentorees: 5
In the context of the project ''Predictive Value of Arterial Stiffness in Pre-eclampsia Development (REVEAL)'', I was personally responsible for two clinic days per week. I had undergraduate and graduate students shadowing me and helping out in the clinic. I helped train 2 undergraduate/graduate students who had sub-projects to work on. I also showed them how to recruit and interact with patients and clinic staff, as well as train them in arterial stiffness assessments. I also assisted 3 medical students on a research rotation with their project, data collection and analyses.
  • 2013/7 - 2015/6 Training and supervision, Vascular Health Unit
    Number of Mentorees: 7
In the context of the project "Identification of the Unstable Atherosclerotic Plaque: from Bench to Clinical Practice (ICALCULATE)", I supervised the work of 3 undergraduate volunteers. I showed them the basis of the database, how to read medical charts, how to centrifuge blood samples, and how to perform arterial stiffness assessments. I also supervised the projects of 2 graduate diploma students and 2 medical students on research rotations. I assisted these students in their literature review, their data collection, as well as their data analyses.
  • 2014/5 - 2015/1 Training and supervision, Vascular Health Unit
    Number of Mentorees: 3
In the context of the project "Arterial stiffness as a maker for Severity, prognosis, and drug rEsponSe in hypertenSion (ASSESS)" I lead a portion of the project. This substudy involved the establishment of a new database and the training of 2 undergraduate students and 1 medical student on a research rotation, that helped with data extraction. I established guidelines for medical chart reviews to help these students understand what
they were reading and how to appropriately report it into the database.
