• 08/2024, Present, WILDLIFE HEALTH CENTER INTERPRETER, Engaging with the public to provide informative about the clinical areas on display and the roles of veterinary professionals at the zoo.
• 01/2024, Present, FOAL WATCH, OVC LARGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL, On call for 8 - 12 hours weekly, providing critical care to neonatal foals. Responsibilities include bottle-feeding, ensuring a sanitary environment and assisting veterinarians and technicians during medical procedures.
• 09/2022, 04/2023, VETERINARY ASSISTANT, OVC SMITH LANE ANIMAL HOSPITAL, Assisted veterinary technicians during weekly wet and dry-land rehabilitation sessions for injured dogs. Helped maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and observed veterinarians during their appointments and surgeries.
• 09/2022, 04/2023, ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT, HAGEN AQUA LAB, Provided care to the marine collection at the University of Guelph's Aqua Lab, conducting feeding and maintenance activities twice a week. Managed diverse needs of specimens, including sea stars, sea urchins, marine snails, cichlids, and skates. Contributed to general maintenance tasks, such as conducting nitrate tests and performing water changes.
• 09/2022, 12/2022, UNDERGRADUATE VOLUNTEER, DISCOVERING BIODIVERSITY, Helped University of Guelph BIOL1070 students in navigating weekly seminar assignments and actively supported Teaching Assistants in delivering new content focused on evolution, ecology, and physiology.
