The absence of upper-year students meant that we had to set academic standards, and lead by initiative. This experience came with pressure from teachers, peers, and family, who all expected us to represent the success and potential of the program. I learned to thrive under that pressure, staying focused, adaptable, and committed to growth, both personally and academically.
