Jesse Shay

As a skilled welder with extensive experience in diverse industrial environments, including aluminum smelters, pulp mills, sawmills, fuel farms, and fabrication shops, I am eager to bring my expertise to Australia. My background includes proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, along with specialized skills in aluminum welding, pipe fitting, and millwright work. I am highly adaptable, having worked in various high-pressure and safety-critical settings, and am committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in every project.

My goal is to leverage the knowledge and skills I’ve gained in Canada to contribute to the Australian industrial sector. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to further develop my craft and work within industries such as mining, manufacturing, or construction. Relocating to Australia represents an exciting new chapter in my career, where I can continue to grow professionally while contributing to the country’s dynamic workforce.

In 2023 my girlfriend and I travelled Australia and completely fell in love with the country, culture and lifestyle. Since then, we have been trying to find our way back to explore and be able to call Australia our home once more. We both are very active and love that the Australian weather allows us to be outside year round. My girlfriend will also be looking for employment, she has experience in the hospitality industry in waitressing, bartending, and housekeeping. She also has her bachelor degree in education. We are very excited to hopefully find work opportunities together.
