After a workplace injury left me unable to perform in the labour field, I obtained a HR Professional Diploma (with honours) in 2015. I then applied my knowledge through dedicated work ethic, and received steady promotions and currently holding the title Installation Manager in 2021. I have spent the last 3 years honing a diverse skillset that has proven success, and I feel prepared to shift my career into a field that aligns with my deeply ingrained value to keep my community safe.

  • Responsible for a team of 12 and the installation of structural steel and street furniture in Western Canada.
  • Managing all local municipal accounts from point of sale and project management, to installation and final invoice.
  • Responsible for short and long term scheduling of installations for a team of 4 other project managers.
  • Performed regular job site observations to provide direction for general contractor personnel and subcontractor laborers.
  • Implemented systems to improve process efficiency and reduce project duration.

  • I developed a metric for training needs assessment by monitoring the fleet delivery returns dock.
  • I developed a safe training for new hires to avoid injury.
  • Analyzed data and findings to prepare reports to increase efficiency.
  • Provided both internal guidance to stores and departments, and external customer support when required.

  • After a 2 month practicum, I was able to secure an 8 month contract, Responsible for all administrative and HR duties within a small non-profit society, including:
  • Keeping policy updated to meet funder requirements

    to provide better care for clients seeking recovery from substance abuse.
