Clean, Stock, and organize trucks. Speak to customers to get access to backyard poles and explain the reason for being there. Building and prepping material for lineman such as cross arms, wire ties, various bolts, and hardware depending if it's for triplex, open wire secondary, or 4.8kv primary circuits. Hand digging poles,setting grounds, setting up work zone and pedestrian barriers to keep jobsite safe.

Hand digging, ground trenching and setting. Participate in filling out tailboard and job briefing. Pulling out services and guy wires, lay out tools and materials to efficiently complete task. also getting and inspecting rubber goods line hoses, blankets, and hard plastic insulating materials. Keep track of materials being used and restock daily.

Drove a low boy trailer transporting a utility bucket or digger to rural areas for lineman to complete the task during storm where access was not available. Daily walk through and inspection of my rig before transporting load. i also hand dug 12ft transmission poles hiking up mountain terrain.

every morning i would climb an a lattice tower to hang up the hand line on my way down i would inspect for cracks and missing hardware. once i get to the bottom we roll out plastic to prevent spills on native soil. prepping material and mixing paint to coat the entire structure with paint that contains 30% metal to preserve and extend the life of the structure.
