My role as an area manager for Mission Linen Supply is very broad. I am tasked with being able to do multiple jobs and this role is responsible for many areas of the total business. For one, I oversee the route drivers and ensure that they are taking care of their customer base and maximizing them as a customer. This would include making sure all customers are utilizing Mission Linen Supply to the fullest which would mean they are buying everything we sale and aware of our capabilities. I also make am responsible for customer retention. All customers are required to have a valid contract and this I have done well with. When I took the position the contract percentages were in the 60's and now they are in the 90's. The same can be said for sales, in the first year I worked here, the sales were only $60k annually and now are $250k annually. This is a very fast paced job which would include working directly with the customer and the driver who delivers to the customer. Other tasks would include:
