Manage facility projects for Aspenleaf's Swan Hills and Twining fields (new well tie ins, waterflood facilities, injection well conversions, battery expansions, pipeline construction and repairs).

• Oversee Aspenleaf's ABSA PEIMS program - navigated company from a surveillance audit schedule to 98% audit score and regular three year audit intervals.
• Support field staff in day to day operations, troubleshooting and optimization initiatives.
• Participate in ERP drills and real emergency response incidents
• Manage piping inspections, failure analyses and repairs / improvements
• Manage Capital Maintenance and Repair and Maintenance budgets and spending
• AFE generation, cost coding, invoice approvals and accruals
• Participate in and manage recommendation closeouts for Hazops

2016 - 2017 – Wapiti Montney Field – Responsible for 11,000 boed operation – primarily sour, liquid rich horizontal Montney wells in the Grande Prairie area and three large compression / dehy facilities.

• Support field staff in day to day operations, troubleshooting and optimization initiatives.
• Forecast and track production volumes, opex and netbacks
• Ensure field has sufficient service through midstream facilities to sales.
• Plan new wellsite facilities and pipeline tie-ins
• Monitor and optimize field opex spending
• Participate in facility Hazops and recommendation close outs.
• Manage all capital maintenance spending in the field
• Plan and coordinate workovers with Completions group.
• Support Appraisal team on full scale development plans for the Wapiti field (develop Opex model to feed economic evaluation of five different development scenarios).

2014- 2016 – Brazeau Field – Responsible for 7,000 boed – (sour Nisku oil wells, Cardium horizontal oil wells and Rock Creek horizontal liquids rich gas wells.

• Same responsibilities as above with additional focus on artificial lift technologies and well workovers (rod pumping, gas lift, ESP, plunger lift, jet pump).

Company Overview: Palliser Oil & Gas was a junior oil and gas producer focused on CHOPS and HVL (high volume lift) heavy oil production in the Lloydminster region.

• Responsible for 600 boed - primarily from heavy oil wells in the greater Lloydminster area.
• Designa and execute Palliser’s facility projects.
• Optimize heavy oil well production – monitor fluid levels and pump efficiencies - speed up, load, flush, and workover wells to maximize oil volumes.
• Plan and coordinate well workovers with rig consultants and Operations.
• Evaluate and select best downhole configuration and surface equipment setup for new drills and reactivations.
• Coordinate completion, equipping and tie-in activities. Bring new wells online.
• Review fields with Geology and Exploitation to identify workover and recomplete opportunities.
• Monitor salt water disposal well performance and workover / stimulate as required to maintain disposal rates.
• Monitor Op Costs, accrue OPEX and CAPEX spending, and approve invoices.

• 2011 - 2012 - Heavy Oil South – Responsible for 350 active wells / 6,500 boed - primarily flowlined horizontal heavy oil wells in CNRL’s Senlac field.
• Coordinate completion and tie in activities between Drilling, Construction, Completions, Facilities, Pipeline and Electrical groups. Bring new wells online.
• Identify candidates for workovers and recompletions – coordinate work and bring wells online.
• Monitor and optimize oil and gas production.
• Support field operations.
• Research, evaluate and recommend production technologies (PC pumps, liners, casing / tubing strings, rods, wellhead drives).
• Scope and sponsor facility improvement, de-bottlenecking and op-cost reduction projects.
• Create annual production, development and exploration budget.
• Manage capital spending for field.
• Create / approve AFE’s, cost tracking and accruals
• Liaise with partners on joint venture projects.
• Maintain good relationship with regulatory bodies.
• 2010 - North East Gas – Responsible for 550 active gas wells / 40 mmscfd, and 15 gas plants in NE Alberta.
• Similar responsibilities as above plus:
• Model and optimize gas-gathering systems. Initiate and execute facility consolidation, pipeline and compression projects.
• Manage large inactive well inventory – workover, recomplete, suspend or abandon wells to comply with ERCB regulations.

• Managed facility projects for CNRL’s Heavy Oil properties ($100K to $7,000K budgets). Area included 12 heavy oil batteries, 4 sand disposal facilities and numerous water disposal facilities.

• Managed data management projects for CNRL’s Production and Facilities groups. Projects and duties included:
• Managed a team of software developers supporting different business applications.

Schlumberger Information Solutions produces software for oil and gas producers.

• Designed Production and Drilling software applications for worldwide clients.
• Managed Production and Drilling software development projects.
• Supported field engineers working on Production and Drilling projects throughout the world.

• Implemented field data capture software for oil and gas clients worldwide.

Baker Hughes INTEQ provides directional drilling and measurement while drilling services to the oil and gas industry.

• Operated down-hole survey tools for directional and horizontal drilling projects throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
• Delivered accurate wellbore directional surveys to directional drillers.
• Produced gamma ray logs from collected data for Wellsite Geologist.

• Company Overview: Simplot produces nitrogen-based fertilizers at its Brandon, Manitoba processing facility.
• Responsibilities:
• Tracked and reported production of two nitric acid plants.
• Managed process improvement projects to increase production capacity and reliability of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate plants.
