  • Company Overview: Fort McMurray, Canada
  • I started for Sterling Crane Fort McMurray running a 75 ton tadano RT
  • I then got hired on for CNOOC Kinosis construction
  • I got signed off on all the RT's there (55-100 ton) the 15 ton broderson, spydercrane urw376 and some seat time in the 160 and 275 Kobelco's
  • After this job I took a layoff and got rehired to work on 2 enbridge pump stations in a 15 ton broderson
  • I had to do a few high capacity lifts and tandem lifts with a crane outside of the pumphouse
  • I returned to the yard as a branch hand and was dispatched to a few different jobs usually with various different cranes.
  • I spent some time at Fort Hills but left for an opportunity at CNRL Kirby lake to run an 80 ton RT and 100 ton Kobelco set with 100' main and 40' jib at 30
  • I finished out that job and followed that crawler to the east tank farm rebuild for Suncor working for CB&I Horton.
  • We set it to work with 190' of main with a 60' jib @ 30 During that job I also got signed off on a 200 ton Kobelco.
  • I again returned to the branch to go to various sites and customers expanding my crane portfolio
  • I added the Tadano ATF 90, 110 130, Liebherr LTM 1070, 1130, 1150 and Kobelco CK2500 and CK2750 to the growing skillset
  • Once I proved I can operate the previous cranes I got signed off on the LTM 1220 and 1250 at Kearl Lake
  • I became one of the branches main crawler hands moving in and out the 250 and 275 ton kobelcos multiple times
  • I got to operate crawlers on several shut downs and projects
  • I have built pc8000's, cat 7495's and Boss 4100's
  • I have to extensive man basket work with multiple different types of cranes, I safely completed several engineered lifts and was a regular choice for complex tandem lifts
  • I drove lots of truck and trailer for the branch hauling crane components, counterweights and rigging
  • I've always helped the mechanics when servicing the machine I'm assigned too, I also help out when there's some welding required on pad racks and small non structural components
  • I've always got the job done safely, on time and with no injuries
  • I'm good at dealing with customers and crews without conflict
  • I follow all policies and procedures
