Summary

I have a strong - 28 year history of providing excellent clinical care to the diverse cohort of patient who admitted in the intensive care unit. I also provide an exemplary leadership within the intensive care environment. I have worked some of the reknown and excellent intensive care units such as the Manzakowski Heart Institute, Edmonton Alberta, Guys and St Thomas' Hospital, UK, Royal Brompton Hospital, UK. I have a strong passion and compassion in looking after critically ill patients who present with diverse clinical syndrome such as multiorgan failure. These patient population often require hemodynamic support through a careful titration of vasoactive drugs such as Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Dobutamine, Isopre, Phenylaphrine. Others may require more advanced monitoring using the IABP, PICCO, LIDCO, PA Cathether, and ECMO to support them.

I am a competent hemodialisis and CRRT nurse. I have a strong passion in providing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS certified) for coded patients. I am also a member of the Rapid Response Team that ensures patients who at risk of deteroriation are adequately supported through early detection and facilitation to ICU or intervene in an effective manner to prevent further deteroriation.

I championed a group that successfully reduced our ICU CLABSI rate significantly through the implementation of a new central line devices guideline.

I have a strong passion for decreasing the number of central line or invasive device related infections within the intensive care unit
