Processes the Attendance Accounting and State reporting for all LACOE Supported School sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Average Daily Attendance are accurate and submitted on time
  • Ensure that LACOE coordinate with sites if there are any discrepancies with their numbers and work towards their resolution
  • Ensures that all documents and processes in terms of attendance are in compliance with CDE and ED codes
  • Assists sites with any inquiries in terms of compliance

Other Tasks:

  • Coordinates with other departments if needed to resolve site Concerns with regards to tool usage or process
  • Does Data Audits to ensure that everything is accurate on or off site.
  • Works with Coordinator with regards to new process that needs to be implemented due to new procedures, Ed codes, and laws

Systems Specialist – SFS Payroll TSA Unit

Working as a support for all participating district payroll services by processing and sending out warrants for their TSA and also perform other TSA related duties

Main Responsibility:

  • All reports pertaining to employee deductions are run, saved (Word, PDF or Excel), and filed
  • Ensure that all TSA corrections are made as requested by districts; Changes are documented and filed
  • Process TSA warrants to be sent out to vendors weekly
  • Preparing vendor refund checks for deposit including People Soft processing
  • Processing Cash Collections in HRS
