Jensen Gabora

Personal work experience serves as a backbone to express individual diversity. Knowledge and experience were gained professionally, through education, as well as from being a high-level collegiate athlete as an international student throughout college. An organized and dependable candidate who is successful at managing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude. A great willingness to take on added responsibilities to complete tasks, and am eager to learn and further abilities in all areas. Passionate about Biology, Biotechnology, the future of medicine, and making a difference in the scientific community as a professional.

Senior Thesis:

• Successfully composed and executed Senior Research Thesis at Waldorf University on Screening Human Dental Plaque for Bacteriophage Specific to Streptococcus mutans under the mentorship of a professor.
• Conducted research using techniques including: handling of human specimen, pipetting, filtering, plating, mixing agar, and fulfilling other duties while practicing proper laboratory safety.
• Composition of Institutional Review Board application.
• Presented research findings at 7 Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium.
• Awarded the Alpha Chi Undergraduate Research grant from the Iowa Iota Chapter.
