• Where I work with different international students, I have developed tailored instructional materials for diverse learners, improving overall classroom performance. Using technology to help the students understand lessons.
• I work with staff, program heads, coordinators, practicum hosts as well as co-instructors and the students to help the program run as smoothly as possible.
• I had different speakers come in to help incorporate real-world examples into lessons, connecting abstract concepts to students everyday lives.

I was the temporary grade 4 teacher in Carrot River. I taught ELA (along with Daily 5 and guided reading), Science, Social Studies, Math, Art, as well as Health. I enjoyed being part of the team at this school and took away many good lessons from this experience. I was able to communicate with parent through Edsby and encouraged family engagement in the classroom.

• I was able to teach social studies, science, art, and phys. ed to both grade 3 and 4 simultaneously.
• I worked hard to build positive relationships with parents to involve families in the educational process.
• I included family engagement by having families into the classroom to discuss a job they do or family tradition.
• I reached out to all grades in the school offering an afterschool activity. I lead the Winter Choir for any students who wanted to join. We were able to reach out to the community and surrounding communities to perform.
• I worked closely with students on IIP's as well as success plans.

• I was the afternoon teacher in a shared position. I taught social studies, phys Ed, Science, as well as Arts Ed to both grades 2 and 3 simultaneously.
