Summary

I have worked throughout the years in child-care, in a variety of capacities. As a young woman I traveled to England and France to work as a nanny. When I returned to Canada I worked as a live-out nanny, until I started my own family. During my children's preschool years I ran a home daycare.


Once my kids were in full-time school, my work path changed and I spent many years working in restaurants and catering, including running my own catering company; maintaining throughout, a strong connection to the kids who come into my life, neighbours, nieces and nephews, and the children of friends.


In the last few years I've returned to primarily working with kids, through babysitting, casual nannying, and 2 years as a classroom aide to children with disabilities as well as working in a school daycare.
