With Valley Medical while I worked in Keremeos I was trained to do holter monitors. I was also working their independently as the only laboratory staff on site, which  consisted of going to the care home first thing in the morning, opening the Laboratory, managing delivering results to the doctors offices, being available for the emergency room, performing ECG's, holter monitors, as well as preparing all samples and packaging them for the courier.r.

I did a lot of emergency room shifts which I feel taught me skills in working calmly in stressful situations.

I have previous experience as a sever in a bar, which taught me how to also handle people that are not of sound mind, I feel that experience has rolled over to benefit my health care career as many patients are not of sound mind and require extra patience as well as the experience to be able to work professionally.
