Provide system support for over 15,000 users

Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to vendor if necessary

Complete statistical reviews/analysis

Produce trending reports for executive leadership, senior management/board

Lead analyst - provide direction to area analysts to ensure standardized approach

Provide system training and produce education/training material

Liaise with system admin from the other provincial health authority for standardized provincial incident management system

Make any necessary system changes to meet the needs of the corporation

Subject matter expert/project lead for Horizon Health Network for the project to purchase and implement a new provincial incident management reporting system (IMRS)

Work with project manager and project leads from other provincial health authority to determine the system requirements for the new IMRS

Meet with potential vendors to select a system meeting the requirements

Meet with vendor who won the contract to develop the new provincial IMRS

Test new system prior to implementation to ensure new IMRS working as expected

Develop training, education and communication plan for implementation of new IMRS and provide training to users prior to and after go live

Update provincial IMRS taxonomy

Review incidents for analysis/data integrity and send to appropriate manager(s) for follow up as well as review any related medical records to assist in determining injury/outcome to the patient

Escalate any severe/death incidents or incidents determined to be for potential litigation

Produce trending reports for managers/directors as well as senior management/board

Identify patients with a propensity for violence through the incident reporting system and develop guidelines for managing those patients in hospital

Develop and provide training/education for users of the incident management system
