Accomplishments

For several years I hosted Walk for Lupus, a charity fundraiser in collaboration with Lupus Ontario. After my time with Lupus Ontario I hosted Ride For Lupus, a charity motorcycle ride in support of the Pediatric Lupus Research Unit at the Hospital for Sick Kids, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Dr. Silverman, head of the department. These events were a great success with no less than 100 attendees at each Ride. I used every skill imaginable to organize and run these events, with participation from members of the community like Mayor Cam Gutherie. I was responsible for acquiring sponsors and donations, money management, group direction and much more.
