Prevailing Wage Analyst

  • I am responsible for the analysis and compliance for all prevailing wage projects for the Northern California Project Management/Construction Management group. In this role, I am responsible for analyzing employee compensation, verifying that employee wages and fringe benefits meet minimum wage determination requirements for construction/inspection tasks on Public Works projects. I serve as a liaison to human resources recruiting during the on-boarding phase for new hires who will be assigned to public works projects. I assist them with salary analysis when determining proper salary and fringe requirements to ensure that their base rate of pay is compliant and competitive. In my tenure, I have successfully identified areas of non-compliance, established a plan forward process for corrections and have remedied/corrected over a year’s worth of compliance issues and have corrected the necessary reporting for those projects. I use several compliance software tools in this role, such as LCP Tracker, Elation, and the DIR website to maintain accurate certified payroll reports.
