Jenna Houzer

• Develop and implement behaviour analytic interventions with a caseload of 9-18 full-time students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, between the ages of 5-21

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify factors contributing to student behaviours and create individualized behaviour intervention plans
• Provide training and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff on implementation of behaviour intervention plans, behaviour management techniques, skill-acquisition programming and Safety-Care crisis intervention
• Consistent monitoring and analysis of data for data-driven decisions about behaviour intervention plans and skill acquisition programming
• Collaborate with other BCBAs, teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, music therapists and other stakeholders in program development and implementation
• Researched and developed the training manual for paraprofessionals
• Developed evaluation systems for paraprofessionals and Assistant ABA Program Managers (BCaBA)
• Assisted with hiring and ongoing evaluation of paraprofessionals

ABA Supervision

• Supervised the practicum of BCBA and BcaBA candidates, providing structured feedback and fulfilling BACB supervision requirements for 3-7 supervisees at a time
• Research, plan and lead monthly group supervision meetings for current BCBAs, BCaBAs and supervisees
• Presented in group training sessions for parents and/or paraprofessionals on relevant topics

• Develop and implement behaviour analytic interventions as per above under BCBA supervision
• Manage caseload of 2-9 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Provide training, ongoing supervision and feedback to Educational Instructors and Head Educational Instructors
• Lead group training sessions on behaviour intervention plans and ABA procedures

• Provide instruction based on the principles of applied behaviour analysis under supervision of a BCBA for 1 to 4 students within a classroom setting
• Collect, organize and summarize behavioural and academic data
• Delivered initial instructor training, support and ongoing feedback to Educational Instructors

• Provide 1:1 teaching using applied behaviour analysis under supervision of a BCBA
• Provide behavioural and classroom support for 1 to 4 students within a classroom setting
• Collect, maintain and organize behavioural and educational data

• Provide direct support to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder in skill-building and recreational programs with a focus on community inclusion
• Assist in staff training and provide functional support to staff, students and volunteers on shift
• Program and implement various skill-building and recreational activities including public outings, taking public transit and other play-based activities
• Incorporate the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis into support and safety plans
• Assisted and/or lead the delivery of social skills programming for small groups such as PEERS, Secret Agents Society and Lego Club programs

• Provide intensive behavioural intervention to students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder under supervision of BCBA
• Collect data and graph results for primary student

• Direct support of 1 to 3 children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, emotional-behavioral disorders, and other disabilities
• Implement various skill-building and recreational activities

• Provide support to a client with Angelman's Syndrome in home and community settings
• Communicate consistently with family members, group home staff and other support workers to ensure consistency for the client
