Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify factors contributing to student behaviours and create individualized behaviour intervention plans
  • Provide training and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff on implementation of behaviour intervention plans, behaviour management techniques, skill-acquisition programming and Safety-Care crisis intervention

  • Researched and developed the training manual for paraprofessionals
  • Developed evaluation systems for paraprofessionals and Assistant ABA Program Managers (BCaBA)
  • Assisted with hiring and ongoing evaluation of paraprofessionals

ABA Supervision

  • Supervised the practicum of BCBA and BcaBA candidates, providing structured feedback and fulfilling BACB supervision requirements for 3-7 supervisees at a time
  • Research, plan and lead monthly group supervision meetings for current BCBAs, BCaBAs and supervisees
