Humboldt County Superior Court Investigator- Conservatorship Division. A judge appoints a responsible person to care for another adult who can not care for him/ herself or their finances based on the recommendations of reports submitted by Superior Court Investigator .
Superior Court investigator meets with the proposed or existing conservatee and conservator and reviews the medical records , estate records and determines the conservatee's ability to care for self and the need for a conservatorship as well as the conservator's ability to care for the conservatee. Submit written report with recommendations to the court regarding the validity of the conservatorship.
Humboldt County Senior Probation Officer Adult Field duties included the supervision of adult offenders who had been granted a formal grant of probation by the court. Offenders participated in an intensive supervision program that consisted of weekly drug testing and participation in drug treatment programs.
