Volunteer Experience
- I have homeschooled my elementary-aged children for the past three years. I have been responsible for choosing and implementing curriculum, overseeing their education, and finding creative and engaging ways to present the material. My goal as a homeschooling parent was not just to "get through" each lesson, but to ensure it was taught in a way that my children found interesting and memorable.
- Since 2021, I have been serving as a member of our church deacon board . As a deacon board, we are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church, specifically in regard to finances/budget, building maintenance, staffing, etc.
- I am currently volunteering as a music leader at our church. I lead a music team, select songs, and teach/lead the congregation in singing on what is roughly a monthly basis. I have served on church music teams steadily for the past 12 years.
