Worked in projects and fabrication shop India, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore and Kuwait in the fields of Oil & Gas, Power Desalination, construction works under the various third party inspection agencies,Project management companies and prestigious clients like , Lloyds Register, Jacobs, PDO Oman, UHDE, Velosi, DNV, TUV, UHP, Shell.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verification and application of the requirements of the applicable welding codes, scope of work and issued for construction (IFC) drawings.
• Manage, implement, verify and enhance the QHSE profile, culture, systems, behavior's and policies.
• Ensure effective management of all activities in the company related to QHSE development, implementation, maintenance and compliance with the company's policies, procedures, federal law, local regulation and international standards.
• Providing knowledge, motivation and familiarization to all company personal respecting the importance of company system procedure and also the HSE requirements.
• Material verification with the support of mill test certificate (MTC). Review of WPS, PQR, ITP, Weld Plan, Procedures as per project specifications and standards.
• Verification to ensure that the applicable welding procedures specifications (WPS) are approved by the appropriate authorities prior to start any welding activities.
• Verification and correctness of welding consumable such as Welding electrodes, filler wires, consumable, inserts, gases, fluxes, etc.
• Verification and validation the calibration certification of welding machines / equipment's as per requirements. Verification of welding electrodes backing and storage to all equipment's meets job specification and code requirements.
• Verification of dimensions fit-up and welds preparations in compliance with the applicable engineering standards and drawings.
• Perform surveillance visits / inspection during welding and fabrication activities to verify and ensure the compliance with the specified procedures, including any pre-heat, inter pass temperature control and post weld heat treatment (PWHT).
• Witnessing Ferrite, Feroxyl Test, PMI & PWHT. Verification to ensure that adequate and valid welder approvals are available and only approved welders processing valid welding cards are used / engaged in production / activities.
• Ensure that the approved welding procedures are employed in production / process and / or activities.
• Providing and guiding to welder to weld distortion control and welding sequence in accordance with job code requirements.
• Visual inspection and dimensional of completed weld against the specifications, requirements and drawings.
• Witnessing and monitoring of NDT activities as per approved procedure and applicable codes.
• Monitoring welder performance and repair rates of each welder in accordance with job quality and code requirements.
• Co-ordination with the TPI, AI, client/consultants to maintain the quality to move the project smoothly. Stage and Final Inspection of pressure vessels, piping, skids as per the drawing and Requirements.
• Preparation of pressure test packages.
• Preparation of final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filling system (As per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.
• Conducting and witnessing of cleaning and flushing activities.
• Interpretation of Radiographic Films and Witnessing PT, UT & MT. Blasting and Painting Inspection with related Activities. Review painting specification for the implementation of work.
• Perform incoming inspection on components with respect to painting & provides early warning of potential quality problems.
• Reviewing painting specifications, technical & safety data sheets, blasting and Painting procedures.
• Witnessing and documenting of painting activities through the preparation of daily inspection reports, through raising RFIs, inspection and documentation. Handling Internal, External & Clients Audit
