I ran a utility line clearance crews all over the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Responsibilities included trimming and removing trees in very close proximity of high voltage power lines with voltages ranging from 8000 volts up to 240 000 volts. During my time with Davey Tree Services i have run mulching crews for 3 years using large tree mulchers. I also ran slash crews for 4 years where i gained most of my climbing experience. Following that I obtained my UTT (utility tree trimmer) certification and began running an ariel lift truck with air breaks for the next 6 years. Then Davey Tree Services purchased a specialized piece of equipment used for accessing across pipelines, septic fields and any area where the customers were concerned about ground desturbance. I have been forman of that crew for the last 4 years.
