I have been in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years over that time I have gained tons of knowledge. Working in both the service and production side of the industry. I have worked with many different personalities and views of the job. Looking for a new opportunity to work on different equipment and products, in that time I have worked with light oil and heavy oil, Sand and wax. I have a class 3 with air endorsement since 2000.

Position driver/yard worker

  • Customer service loading the customer with the product they purchased
  • Maintaining the lifts of lumber restacking lifts
  • Keeping the stock filled up and in order
  • Running a moffit truck with loads for delivery where there is no equipment on site
  • Fork lift to unload the product safely
  • Driving tip deck units, truck and trailer and picker
  • Picker unit Hiab knuckle picker, mostly delivering shingles to the roof top for the roofing companies
  • Maintaining the trucks: ie minor fixes cleaning and greasing.

  • Operate and optimize oil and gas wells, with use of Fluid shots and plunger lift systems
  • Operate compression plant with dehy and refridge systems
  • Log compressors to have accurate operating conditions to make it easier to review if a problem is arising
  • Use scada and PVR to input volumes and check wells for declines of wells and normal operating of wells
  • Maintain chemical rates on wells to ensure cost effective ways to treat wells without the need to over treat
  • Perform regulatory checks for compliance such as D55, PRV inspection dates, Pop tank exemptions, safety equipment, and tank volumes
  • Training new and young workers to follow all procedures and take the time to perform the job safely and properly
  • Help Write and edit unit and plant startups for all equipment

  • In this role I was responsible for 60 workers and three different operating locations
  • Making sure all the equipment needs were met with the swampers available to perform the work
  • Door pull crews were ready and had all the equipment to do the job, inspections on the trucks and equipment
  • Building maintenance on all three location buildings and overhead doors, spare parts and storage at each
  • In this position I had many job titles such as safety supervisor, Pressure truck and Vac truck operator, door pull laborer, swamper on flush by and continuous tubing trucks as well as making sure the shops were clean and organized.
