- Insert indwelling foley catheter (straight, 2-way, 3 way) by observing aseptic technique. Do proper documentation accurately
- Forward laboratory request that is properly filled- up to Rad-tech and Med-tech
- Monitor Obstetric patients who are in labor
- Prepare surgical patients by carrying out pre- operative orders, completing pre-op checklist, checking for secured consent and alleviate their concerns Properly endorse patient. Monitor post- operative patients closely and refer to attending physician/ anesthesiologist for any untoward occurrence
- Assist in minor operations (section biopsy, breast mass excision, DJ stenting, Dilation/ Completion Curettage, etc); assist in major operations: TAHBSO, Caesarian Section, Total Mastectomy, Nephrectomy, Exploratory Laparotomy, Transurethral Resection of Prostate, etc
- And assist in Normal Deliveries
- Operate Mechanical Ventilator with minimal assistance
- Observe patient's rights and do health teachings
- Assisted patients with different medical conditions, personal care, assisting in feeding, walking and transferring.
