Establishes positive relationships with carriers and representatives through communication and coordination skills. Competent in route planning and shipment method determination.
- Receiving and recording new stock as it comes in;
- moving stock on to trucks or shelves as needed;
- creating schedules, monitoring stock levels at the warehouse;
- Knowing when to replenish stock, analyzing daily product and supply levels to anticipate invent ry problems and shortages.
▪ Participate in the planning and implementation of Cisco Unified Communication infrastructure;
▪ Use network management tools to monitor, analyses, and report resources utilization;
▪ Work with the networking management unit to implementation and support IP telephony services
based on Cisco infrastructure;
▪ Provides support to the CERDAD staff at assigned duty station through CUCM / switches
configuration, installation of end user terminal (VOIP), installation of cabling infrastructure, and UCM
network troubleshooting;
▪ Dedicated time for training and capacity building of CERDAD staff in the Telephone unit.
▪ Responsible for the day to day management of the organization's IT assets and the preventive and
corrective maintenance of computers, peripherals, LAN and WAN networks;
▪ Coordinate with external providers of support services for IT systems following the recommendations
of the IT Officer of the Country;
▪ Install, configure and update new versions of software and hardware (eg. servers, workstations, MS
Office, McAfee, etc.) as recommended by the Country IT Officer;
▪ Participate in the planning and preparation of the IT budget, program work plan and provincial
expenditures in liaison with the Country IT Officer and line manager;
▪ Prepare monthly progress report detailing accomplishments, challenges and action plans for the
future and send it to the line manager and the IT Officer.
▪ Administer and maintain the project program databases;
▪ Make data processing and collaborative work easy for users by using the computer tool;
▪ Provide conclusive technical assistance to each staff member when needed;
▪ Be the focal point for all IT issues related to the project Program management data;
▪ Ensure the day to day functioning of the computer and messaging network in all offices across the
province;
▪ Report any unresolved or persistent problems with the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area
Network (WAN) to the Country Software Engineer.
