JEAN-LUC DUSHIME

Windsor,Canada

Summary

Ever since I was young, the volunteer work I have done under the close supervision of Sr. Helen Petrimoulx and later with the Refugee Sponsorship Program has left a lasting impression on me and a eagerness to have a career in humanitarian work.

More specifically I have volunteered for Angela Rose Shelter as a mover, as an administrative assistant maintaining the database for the Refugee Sponsorship Program and more recently for an amazing organization, Allies for Refugee Integration where i was tasked with advising co-sponsors on how to provide the best possible start for newcomers.

As mentioned this has left a lasting impression on me and has given an immense respect for the work Sponsorship Agreement Holders do in helping the most vulnerable among us.

I am reliable, punctual and a fast learner with an eagerness to apply these qualities to a position that requires not only the utmost attention to detail but also a deep compassion and love for refugees.
