As an intern we learn different procedures for healing and helping injured athletes. I work with other interns on learning new injury solutions/stabilizers and increase the rate of healing using neuromuscular electrical stimulation devices as well as sports medicine supplies.
Being apart of different sports throughout the year allowed me to have more thinking upon organization when it comes to balancing school work with AP level classes and still attending practices. I would help get supplies out and put them away to help coaches.
During one of my sports I took an online sports psychology course understanding the patience and calmness that comes with pressured situations
During ASB I set up multiple events and created decorations for each of these. I had also worked as a cashier for our schools snack bar. I was able to gain more skills when it comes to teamwork and management under pressure.
I volunteered being a teachers assistant for one of the first communion teachers (students ages 7-9), sometimes explaining what they would work on, passing out papers, and reading course work to them. I also set up for church events and cleaned the church.
For my quinceanera I did not have additional money to hire a choreographer for our surprise and traditional dances. I decided to look at different dances and teach 12 people who came out in my court different dances that came out beautifully. I was flexible if someone was busy and catered food to them after every practice.
