• Helped rig up at beginning of the day. Set service rig outriggers so the blocks are hanging straight over wellhead, put pads out for outriggers, carry line pipe and connect pipe sections from pump truck to wellhead. Hammer up unions and ensure whip checks are secure.
• Pulled crew trailer to the next lease.
• Took pressure readings at wellhead and bled pressure into the rig tank if necessary
• Worked on the tubing board latching and un-latching pipe joints from elevators, neatly stacked rows of pipe in the fingers of tubing board
• Applied pipe dope to threads before tongs torqued it down
• Grease equipment.
• Cleaned up pipe wrenches and used Varsol to clean up heavy oil on the rig.
• Listened carefully to supervisors to understand directions and then carried out all work responsibilities efficiently
• Tailed out string of rods and pipe then consecutively lifted pipe joints to the rig floor to run back it back in

Assisted hydro vac workers in daily operations, moved plywood to cover open holes in residential back yards and filled them with gravel by wheelbarrow.
