Served as the manager of WISC for a six month contract when the director Lori Campbell was seconded to main campus for the AVP Indigenous Relations. In this short time I managed a team, and developed and provided services for Indigenous students.
Developed and delivered programming surrounding land based learning, food sovereignty, and leadership for Indigenous youth in the KW region. This included a youth leadership symposium, and creative thinking to deliver programming throughout the changing nature of the pandemic. This position was overseen by the Graduate Students Association for the University of Waterloo. Highlights of this role was the conceptualization and development of the Indigenous Research Guide in partnership with the UW library, as well as a year long contribution to the President’s anti-racist task force committee on the Educational Environment and the Development of Learners. Served as a member of the President’s Anti-racism Taskforce (PART) committee to address systemic racism at the University of Waterloo
