Hello! I am a new resident to Lethbridge as well as a student at the University of Lethbridge as of this fall. Currently I am looking for a full-time job that allows for the use of my previously earned skills that is flexible enough to then switch to a more part-time position in the following months.
For the first few months I filled in as a receptionist, answering phones, assisting coworkers, directing incoming clients, and completing inspection reports. For the rest of my time with Total Integration I was junior technician, assisting senior techs with their tasks as well as completing my own such as programming/installing fob reader systems, configuring/installing cameras and intercoms.
During this time I was able to manage a steady work flow while maintaining time management skills and prioritizing to keep on track with the work deadlines. Daily I would complete tasks like accounts payable/invoicing using Yardi, filing, digitizing files and organizing them online using Egnyte, upkeep of office supplies and assisting property managers with small projects when necessary. Due to the position being a summer contract I had to become accustomed with the job and what's expected of me fairly quickly to keep on pace with the needs of supervisors.
My role as sales associate was to inform customers about the features, qualities, and benefits of the products in the store. Having this knowledge allows accurate recommendations to the inquiring customer. Additionally meeting sales targets and quotas including selling Triangle Mastercards, increased email capture and profit goals; at the same time providing confidentiality to customers and their private information. To be able to perform this job effectively I have developed great technological skills by working with the electronic cash tills and POS systems, as well as ordering and shipping products to the store for customers and having constant communication with other store locations to guarantee excellent customer service. Lastly utilizing continuous communication amongst other staff to create a well planned and organized workplace conditions.
Started as a dishwasher, typically washing dishes, prepping food, making pizzas and desserts, additionally upholding cleanliness standards. From February to July, I spent that time as a hostess where I also ran food and bussed dirty tables. Greeting customers and giving them prompt service as well as solving any concerns or questions they may have. Ensuring great customer service, while communicating with kitchen staff, and helping servers during rush hours. Additionally taking phone calls, answering questions, making reservations, and taking online orders. Essentially ensuring an efficient and organized work environment.
