Worked as pitbottom man for TBM mining operations for twin tunnels responsible for the entire underground shaft and crane lifts of precast concrete segments , tail seal , polymer , and other TBM consumables required for the advancement of the twin TBMS. Operated MSVS , telehandlers , skidsteers , and other equipment to load material for the TBM Very efficient in working with cranes and very capable of rigging for TBM operations.

After completion of TBM mining I was transferred to the SEM crew to work on the nine cross passages of the project my role in the SEM crew varied from assisting the roadheader operator with changing hoses and changing attachment heads for different type of ground conditions. I was involved in drilling umbrella pipes for overhead support before mining commenced for each cross passage. I also was responsible for being the nozzleman spraying shotcrete after excavations. I also operated The MSVS and TSPS to transport excavated material from the tunnels to the shaft And all other labour duties involved with mining as required by my foreman and supervisors.

Various positions on the TBM was responsible for the back of the TBM during mining operations duties included building walk way platforms for personnel as the TBM advanced. I was also responsible for extending water pipes grout and discharge water pipes as the machine moved forward and constantly extended the hoses on them And i also assembled and disassembled track for the TBM to move on.

I was also responsible for operating the segment feeder and transported the segments to the front of the TBM for the ring builders to install and i also worked with the ring builder to build the rings for the final tunnel lining and was also involved in maintenance and other labour duties throughout the TBM and the tunnel as directed by my foreman's and superintendents.

Skilled underground labourer for various stations on the Eglinton crosstown subway project responsible for operating machinery such as telehandlers , skid steers , cherry pickers , excavators , front end loaders , rock buggys , scissor lifts. Various responsibilities both above and below ground for underground station construction. I was involved in site maintenance , unloading and offloading deliveries , machine operation and maintenance , concrete works for the stations and installing track for the subway alignment and all other various tasks as assigned by my foreman and supervisors.

Lead hand for powerline utility contractors was the lead hand for a crew of 4-6 labourers duties included excavating trenches for pipe laying , building shoring and trench boxes and underground chamber construction for utility work. Concrete works and concrete finishing works after pipe laying was finished , and final back filling after work was completed. Being the lead hand i was the point of contact often for the supervisors and upper management regarding daily responsibilities and production targets. Safety was the key for me and my crew which led to successful job completions.
