As the 16u Head Coach I am required to plan all on ice practices, make all of the travel itineraries, do player evaluations, execute power edge pro training systems, and come up with an individualized development plan for each student athlete. The 16u age is a very pivotal point in a hockey players career, and it's important to individually guide each player as a person and a hockey player while keeping in mind the teams success as well. It is ultimately my responsibility to create a culture that promotes hard work, positivity, and improvement every day.

Establishing a culture, and a structure in the middle of a season. Creating travel, lodging, and meal itineraries. Upholding standards, core values, and setting clear expectations for player conduct throughout the organization. Pre-Scout film, and individual film breakdown throughout the week leading up to games. Executing trades for our 20 year old players in order to give them an opportunity to play in the playoffs and get college exposure. Communicating with college coaches about players as potential candidates for their program.

Student athlete at an NCAA DIII school in the SUNYAC. Being a full time student and a full time athlete. Attending all classes, workouts, practices, games, community service activities, and team activities. I was an active member in our community and in our teams culture.

Working with Mike Lysyj on birth years 06-09 candidates for the USHL. Utilizing Instat, Rinknet, and Excell to create player analysis. Creating player profiles, rankings, and analysis on potential USHL players. Attending main camp to help select the final roster for the 2023-2024 season.

Identifying players in the Western region that are candidates for the USPHL NCDC league. Recruiting Western players that are on the NAHL/BCHL bubble. Utilizing InStat and RInknet to identify potential candidates for the South Shore Kings.

On ice coaching 7 sessions a week August-June (over 300 hours). Individualized development programs for players on both the 16u and 18u teams. Individualized and team film breakdowns of skill application in game scenarios. Creating presentations on structure in all 3 zones that included video and talking points for clear understanding throughout the entire program. Recruiting for both the 16u and 18u teams, which entailed campus tours, attending recruiting events, meeting with families, and walking families through the application process. Attendance and performance at all competitive events for our program across North America.

I was utilized to identify talent in the western region of North America. I was included in attending main camp and the selection of the 2021-2022 roster. I was mainly using InStat to watch the BCHL and the Tier 1 Elite league for phase 1 and phase 2 of the USHL draft ( birth years 05-03)
