Responsibilities:

Overseeing all phases of underground construction, personnel, quality control and site safety, while maintaining excellent written and verbal communications with clients. Prepare and review project documentation such as Reviewing Estimates, RFI’s, Change Orders, Project Schedules, Safety Reports and Specifications. Attend and perform weekly site meetings with major stakeholders, also coordinating job walks with Inspectors, clients and subcontractors.

• Responsible for Recruiting, Training, Interviewing and Team Building.
• Manage and oversee company Safety Manager and Project Managers.
• Create New company policy, procedures and processes to ensure state compliance.
• Management of multiple large utility projects, for clients such as Disney and DWP.

Responsibilites:

Organize, coordinate and manage all aspects of the Power Delivery process to hundreds of Mini Macros, Macro and Transport sites in three states. Track, forecast and update major milestones using the latest project management software and communicate the status to the project team. Meet with each utility company and structure a process to maintain and deliver the high volume of power applications submitted for each major project.

• Manage, plan and oversee all underground construction.
• Meet and coordinate with all utility, county and city Inspectors.

Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing construction projects from beginning to turnover, while ensuring projects are completed by target dates, and within provided budget. Provide the major stakeholders with all project documentation such as, Daily/Weekly Reports, Safety Reports, Environmental Reports, Illness Injury Prevention Plan (IIPP), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Field Change Orders (FCO’s), Inspection Reports, and Project Completion Reports. Implementing and monitoring the quality of construction within the projects scope of work.

• Renovation and modification of power generation stations, and industrial structures.
• Management of heavy civil projects and demolition of hazardous material/waste.
• Delivery of projects within project schedule, and developing solutions for engineering change orders due to existing conditions or over sites, helping the project to stay on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Planning, directing, and coordinating multiple construction projects for Generation/Substation Power Plants at off-site locations across local Southern California Edison territory. Manage and implement safety programs, develop and execute business plans, and ensuring projects are completed on time with proper project documentation and reports. Write project specifications and construction plans/work narrative for each project.

• Erection of tilt-up buildings within scheduled time line for SCE Northern Hydro Division.
• Plan and manage SCE construction job walks while executing strong leadership and decision making skills.
• Execute each project using PMP (Project Management Process)
